The Victorian Wardrobe

Located in Oamaru's Historic Precinct, the Victorian Wardrobe is a non-profit clothing hire service run by knowledgeable and friendly volunteers who can help anyone achieve their desired Victorian look, regardless of age, gender, and size.

There are thousands of items of Victorian apparel to choose from, including dresses, ball gowns, skirts and trousers, jackets, capes, hats, suits, vests and accessories (including children's clothes).  You are very welcome to browse in the shop where the staff can help you choose a single item or a full Victorian ensemble for the Victorian Heritage Celebrations or for other themed events.

Wardrobe Hours:
Winter hours are Thursdays only, until 6 October.
Summer hours are Thursdays 10-4pm and Sundays 10-2pm

The Wardrobe will be open every day from 10 to 18 November 2024, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. to accommodate added demand for the Festival.
